Top Gun

This is a 1986 American action drama film directed by Tony Scott, and produced by Don Simpson and Jerry Bruckheimer.

The Plot

As students at the United States Navy's elite fighter weapons school compete to be best in the class, one audacious young pilot learns a few things from a citizen instructor that are not taught in the classroom.

Well this is decent. I enjoyed some parts of this film and some parts are quite bland. I really thought giving a re-watch of this I would still like most of the film, but unfortunately not. This is an iconic film though.

The acting in this film is really good. Tom Cruise is good as usual. The score and the soundtrack to this film I absolutely loved.

The most enjoyable and witty scene from this film is when Maverick starts singing to a young lady. I thought that was sweet, yet cringey but funny at the same time.

The ending to this film was really good.

Overall, it is a decent drama/action film. It is bland at times, but still watchable. This film is ok, still worth watching if you have not seen it yet.
