Some of My Favourite Films Hello guys, I am so sorry I haven't posted on here for ages. I am in my final year at college and I haven't had enough time to blog properly again. I should finish my course in some months time, then I will be able to blog more again! Anyway, lets get to fun stuff! I have a letterboxd account which is where I post all of my reviews but they are very short ones and I have created a list of what movies are my favourite so today I will share with you what some of my favourite movies are, as the list is very big and I wouldn't be able to blog about it all in one post.  I am only going to share with you the ones I haven't made a proper full review on. The Mist This is a 2007 American science fiction horror film based on the 1980 novel by Stephen King. The film was written and directed by Frank Darabont. The Plot A freak storm unleashes a species of bloodthirsty creatures on a small town, where a small band of citizens hole up in a supermarket and fight for their lives. Wow this film is really good. This film looks great on Blu-ray. The acting in this film is very good. The main man in this film was extremely good. He acted well and was great character. He’s character made me care about him. However, throughout the film there are few annoying characters. It’s quite funny how the other characters in the film react to the annoying characters. For example there is a scene when an old lady throws peas at the woman to shut her up. That was so funny. This film is very enjoyable to watch. The Innkeepers This is a 2011 American horror film written, directed and edited by Ti West. It stars Sara Paxton, Pat Healy and Kelly McGillis. The Plot During the final days at the Yankee Pedlar Inn, two employees determined to reveal the hotels haunted past begin to experience disturbing events as old guests check in for a stay. Well this film is very interesting and not what I expected. I really enjoyed this film a lot I have heard mix reviews for this film but I watched it anyway so that I can view it myself and use my own opinions on it. I really enjoyed the visionary of the film it was very good. That made the film look like it was well shot and looked really nice to look at on the screen. I notice the director likes to pay attention to detail in some scenes. I really liked the score in this film it suited the tone of the film very well. The acting was pretty good in the film as well. The Last Horror Film This is a 1982 American horror comedy film directed by David Winters. The Plot A New York taxi driver stalks a beautiful actress attending the Cannes Film Festival, which coincides with a series of violent killings of the lady's friends. Well this film was interesting, but good interesting. I really enjoyed this film for what I was – the plot concept was very interesting and throughout the film it approached it quite well. This film did have bit of a slow start though. I really liked the score in this film it was very fun and suspenseful at times when it needed to be. The soundtrack made this film so much funnier and fun – really enjoyed the soundtrack it sort of lightened up the mood to the film although it’s a slasher horror film. IT This is a 1990 supernatural horror miniseries based on Stephen King's novel of the same name. The Plot In 1960, seven outcast kids known as "The Loser Club" fight an evil demon who poses as a child-killing clown. Thirty years later, they reunite to stop the demon once and for all when it returns to their hometown. Wow this film is great, I enjoyed it a lot. This film looks amazing on Blu-ray. It looks stunning. The acting and the soundtrack to this film is really good. This film has lot of kids in it, which usually are annoying but in this film they aren’t. There are some interesting and creepy scenes throughout. One of them is when the girl goes to the sink notices the drain in the sink is talking to her. Then a red balloon pops up from the drain and explodes into blood. Another scene is when one of the boys showers in the gym changing room and the creepy ass clown (Pennywise) pops

Pete's Dragon This is a 1977 American musical live-action animated film directed by Don Chaffey. The Plot It is about an orphan boy running away from he’s abusive parents and brings he’s magical dragon with him. The grand adventure begins from then on.   This film is very enjoyable it kind of reminds me of Mary Poppins a bit. This film is worth getting on Blu-ray the picture quality is stunning and amazing. This film is a musical so bear in mind for some real cringe songs to listen to. Some of the songs were alright, but as I am older now it’s bit of a cringe to listen to, but if you are into that kind of thing you’ll love it. Some of the scenery in this film looks very realistic. The sky looks so real like! There are very good laughs in this film. Most of the comedy in this is rather childish and slapstick. For example; the abusive parents fall into the mud by the dragon.
