The Mist

This is a 2007 American science fiction horror film based on the 1980 novel by Stephen King. The film was written and directed by Frank Darabont.

The Plot

A freak storm unleashes a species of bloodthirsty creatures on a small town, where a small band of citizens hole up in a supermarket and fight for their lives.

Wow this film is really good. This film looks great on Blu-ray. The acting in this film is very good. The main man in this film was extremely good. He acted well and was great character. He’s character made me care about him.

However, throughout the film there are few annoying characters. It’s quite funny how the other characters in the film react to the annoying characters. For example there is a scene when an old lady throws peas at the woman to shut her up. That was so funny.

This film is very enjoyable to watch. This film does take a while before anything interesting happens that’s the only downfall to this film. The score in this film makes the film creepy and tense at times at the right moments in the film.

There are many great scenes in this film and lots of great gore. The scene where the guys are pulling on the string to try and get the man back was good. There was some awesome gore in that bit. Another scene is when there are all these weird bugs it kinda reminds me of something from doctor who. Another scene is when there is a massive bug in the supermarket and eats the guys skin.

The ending to the film was very good. I really liked the ending. It was very good, tense and very sad as well. Don’t worry I shall not spoil the ending but it is quite sad though.

Overall, I enjoyed this one a lot. It is a very good horror film. There are some great gore and spooky elements in it. This film is definitely worth checking out if you have not seen it already. I highly recommend it.

Grave Encounters This is a 2011 Canadian supernatural horror film, shot found footage style. The Plot For their ghost hunting reality show, a production crew locks themselves inside an abandoned mental hospital that's supposedly haunted - and it might prove to be all too true. Wow this probably one of the more decent and better found footage films I have seen in a long time. I liked the whole idea that it was part of their ghost hunting reality show – thought that was cool. At the start when the host was interviewing people, the part when he ask a man if he has seen any ghosts or anything like that and just gives him 20 bucks to pretend to say that he has. That was so funny! The acting was really good in this. I find that this film has a lot more interesting and creepy stuff than any of those paranormal activity films. This film, isn’t scary...
