Cabin Fever

This is a 2002 American black comedy horror film directed by Eli Roth and starring Rider Strong, Jordan Ladd, James DeBello and Giuseppe Andrews.

The Plot

A group of five college graduates rent a cabin in the woods and begin to fall victim to a horrifying flesh-eating virus, which attracts the unwanted attention of the destructive locals.

This film was great fun!! I enjoyed it a lot. I really liked the concept idea and I think this movie did a great job of that.

The music was ok but it did suit the tone of the film.

The acting was alright. The actor who played Paul he was really good.

There was a few black comedy moments here and there which is always good. I didn’t really have any favourite particular scenes from this film though.

I did like the fact it would paced itself slowly with the gore and towards the end it was bit gorier; which I liked.

I really liked the part when Paul was talking about he’s childhood. I also, really liked the third act of this movie. It made the movie a lot better and more things were going on in the film.

Overall, I liked this film. It is a fun and enjoyable horror film. It isn’t the best film out there but I enjoyed it for what it was. I highly recommend this!

Grave Encounters This is a 2011 Canadian supernatural horror film, shot found footage style. The Plot For their ghost hunting reality show, a production crew locks themselves inside an abandoned mental hospital that's supposedly haunted - and it might prove to be all too true. Wow this probably one of the more decent and better found footage films I have seen in a long time. I liked the whole idea that it was part of their ghost hunting reality show – thought that was cool. At the start when the host was interviewing people, the part when he ask a man if he has seen any ghosts or anything like that and just gives him 20 bucks to pretend to say that he has. That was so funny! The acting was really good in this. I find that this film has a lot more interesting and creepy stuff than any of those paranormal activity films. This film, isn’t scary...
