Army of Darkness

This is a 1992 American horror comedy film directed by Sam Raimi. It is the third instalment of the Evil Dead franchise.

The Plot

A man is accidentally transported to 1300 A.D., where he must battle an army of the dead and retrieve the Necronomicon so he can return home.

Well this one was certainly different. I did like this one a lot! I liked that it was set in a different place.

The acting was really good!

At some points of this film I felt it was a little stupid, but fun at times. I did feel it lacked a little in more of the horror element. I just felt little too more action and silly rather than straight up horror. As I didn’t really know what I was going into, it did still became I really enjoyable film.

This isn’t my favourite though, but still I liked it.

Overall, I thought it was fun. It just felt more action than horror. It is alright, the second film is my favourite. This film is still worth checking out and has least gore in.
