ZoeMovieReviews: Saw

Saw   This is a 2004 American horror film. It is directed by James Wan. The film stars Cary Elwes and Leigh. It is the first instalment of the seven-part Saw franchise.   The Plot   Two men who find themselves chained in a dilapidated subterranean bathroom, with one being ordered to kill the other or his family will die.   I really liked this film a lot. I thought there would be lot more extreme gore in this, but there isn’t really. I liked the whole film ‘franchise’ concept. I can’t wait to see Saw 2!   The saw score in this film was really good. This score made me feel intense at times.   The acting in this film was good.   The Jigsaw character wasn’t what I expected to be. He seemed to be a pretty cool badass horror killer. The Bat This is an American mystery film from 1959 directed by Crane Wilbur. It is starring Vincent Price and Agnes Moorehead. The film's tagline was "When it flies, someone dies!"   The Plot A crazy killer known as "The Bat" is on the loose in a mansion full of people.   This film is in black and white. The transfer of this onto DVD is great. The score to this film was very good. It made the film more interesting.   I liked this film a lot. I liked the whole plot concept idea. This is a fun mystery classic black and white film. The Bat killer looked really good and pretty cool.   The acting in this film was very good.   There are some great scenes in this film.   The woman sees a hand in between the curtains that was a cool scene. House on Haunted Hill   This is a 1959 American horror film. It was directed by William Castle and written by Robb White. It stars Vincent Price as peculiar millionaire Frederick Loren.   The Plot A millionaire and his wife invite five people to spend a night in a haunted house. Whoever manages to survive will receive $10,000, but collecting money isn’t as easy as it seems.   This is a black and white film. The transfer to this film onto DVD is great!   I really enjoyed this film a lot. I really liked the whole plot concept. This is such a fun classic black and white horror film to watch.   The acting throughout this film was really good. All the actors/actresses acted great.   The score and the music effects to this film was good. Zombi 3 This film is also known as Zombie Flesh Eaters 2 in the UK. This is the 1988 follow-up to Zombi 2. It is an unofficial sequel to 1978's Dawn of the Dead (released in Italy as Zombi).   It is directed by Lucio Fulci. It stars: Deran Sarafian, Beatrice Ring and Ottaviano Dell'Acqua in it.   The Plot   The infected individuals mutate into flesh-hungry zombies. A trio of soldiers on leave must team up with a group of tourists and board themselves up in an abandoned hotel as they try to fend off the living dead.   This film was good. It was fun and had some great horror gore. I really enjoyed this film a lot; I have since zombie flesh eaters a while ago this year. I like them both.   The score to this film I enjoyed a lot. I really liked the songs that were being played on the radio in the film. They were fun and enjoyable. That makes the film more interesting and fun!   The zombies in this film ...
