The Town That Dreaded Sundown

This is a 2014 American slasher horror film, a meta-sequel
to the 1976 film of the same name. Directed by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon in his feature-length
directorial debut. The film was written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and produced by Ryan Murphy and Jason Blum.
The Plot
65 years after a masked serial killer terrorized the small
town of Texarkana, the so-called 'moonlight murders' begin again. Is it a
copycat or something even more sinister? A lonely high school girl, with dark
secrets of her own, may be the key to catching him.
Wow well this was a very good horror remake. I haven’t seen
the original yet, but as a remake it is very good. As, nowadays there aren’t that
many great horror remakes out there.
This film is very well directed. Some of the shots in this
film are very good. I really liked that it linked in with the original film at
times, which I thought was pretty cool idea.
The score to this film was very good. The acting was great.
The montages at the start of the film were very good I really
liked that. I don’t have any favourite scene at all; I just loved the whole
film.
The ending I was very surprised didn’t expect to see what I saw.
(No spoiler; don’t worry!)
Overall, I loved it. One of the better and good horror
remakes out there. I can’t wait to watch the original. I highly recommend this.
