This films name in Norwegian is Død Snø 2.  This is a 2014 Norwegian-Icelandic horror comedy film directed by Tommy Wirkola. It is a sequel to the 2009 film Dead Snow.

The Plot

Martin woke up in a hospital bed with a new arm - but it's a super-powered Zombie arm that wants to kill him, and anyone else it can reach. Martin's PISSED, but with the help of his new Zombie Squad chums he's going to deliver some payback to Colonel Herzog and his precious Nazi gold - by raising an undead army of his own.

This film is so great!! I have seen the first one which I thought was brilliant. It is probably best for anyone who’s interested in this film that they should watch Dead Snow (D ød Snø) as well. Although, the first few scenes of the film is that it’s reminding you some of things that happened in the first film. That I liked, as it gave me an idea of what happened from the first film as I only watched that sometime in January of this year.

For anyone who can’t cope with gore, then you should not watch this as it has scenes where intestines squirting out and most importantly a head has been blown off. There are so many great scenes in this film!!

The scene where Martin was trying to escape from Herzog in he’s car and when they were fighting or hitting each other lot of cheesy music played – made me laugh a bit!

There are moments in this film where it’s funny. The scene when Martins new ‘Zombie Squad’ chums were buying a lot of items from the ‘Toolz’ shop I thought that was hilarious.

When there was the main zombie battle scene was on that was so much fun to watch! I liked that Herzog had a tank and he’s ‘Zombie’ mate fired it and missed it at the ‘Zombie Squad’ I thought that was quite cool that there was a tank involved.

I loved it when Herzog head got blown up, that was bloody gorily brilliant! I also loved the scene when Martin digs up he’s girlfriend and brings her back to life. Then Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler started playing – that just amuses me so much!

The score of this film was great!! The zombies and actors played really well. I wish the UK/USA would have more horror films like that. It didn’t bother me that it was in Norwegian as it had subtitles anyways. Watching foreign films for me makes me more focused on the film.

This film was a very good sequel to first one. The gore is so great; it didn’t bother me at all. I really enjoyed this film a lot. There was nothing bad about this film, just great!

Overall, I thought this was a great sequel to the first one. I would recommend this film. It has comedy, Nazi Zombies and some cheesy music. What’s not to like, haha? The acting was great – yet another great film by Tommy Wirkola. I definitely recommend this film. It’s definitely a film worth watching, I do recommend the first one (Dead Snow) as well just in case you haven’t seen that one. It does make more sense to see both in the correct order. This is great for horror lovers and anyone who doesn’t get bothered by gore that much – SO if you can’t stand gore I must WARN you not to see this!!
