The Plot
Two scruffy friends backwoods vacation takes a bloody turn
when ignorant college students mistake them for a pair of murderous
hillbillies.
Well, this film is so much fun!! I had a fun time watching
this! I really enjoyed it a lot and it is actually funny whereas some comedy
films nowadays are not so funny anymore, just stupid.
As soon as the few scenes were on I laughed. The scene where
it was supposed to be similar to one of the VHS films at start was brilliant so
funny. There are a lot of very funny scenes throughout this film.
Some of my favourite scenes where when Dale was just holding
the grim reaper weapon near the gas station that was very funny. When Tucker
was running with he’s chainsaw because there were a load of bees flying – too funny
indeed.
There are some gory scenes in this as well. I thought it was
pretty cool when one of the dumbass college students were running to Tucker and
end up being shredded by the wood chipper. That was great! I thought all the
scenes when the dumbass college kids running towards either Tucker or Dale and
there are getting hurt by themselves was great and funny at times.
The only characters I cared about in this film were Allison,
Tucker, Dale and their Dog. All the college kids I didn’t care because they
were really stupid and dumb.
I thought the ending to this film was fantastic, just bloody
brilliant. Dale rescues Allison, and the two barricade themselves inside an
upstairs office. Then they discover news clippings that reveal Chad's father to
be the killer and rapist, not the victim. Chad becomes angry, and Dale stops
his attack by throwing a box of chamomile tea at Chad, which triggers a severe
asthma attack. Chad trembles and falls out the window and dies.

I thought it was sweet when at the end Dale and Allison go
bowling.
The acting was great in this, the music was alright but it didn’t
bother me. I was more engrossed to the whole film and its plot rather than the
music.
Overall, I thought this was a really great film. It was very
funny. I highly recommend this a lot. I would recommend this if you have seen
some horror spoof films or like horror comedies. I do hear they may make a
second one, if so I would love to see it. This is such a bloody fun film!!
