The Little Mermaid

This is a 1989 American animated musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is based on the Danish fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. This is the 28^th Disney classic.

The Plot

A mermaid princess makes a Faustian bargain with a devious sea-witch in order to meet a human prince on land.

I loved this film so much and probably because it is a Disney film.

The animation is this film was really good. The score is very good as well. My favourite song from it was Under The Sea!

The story telling to this film is great! I liked how in some scenes the characters show actual emotion when they are sad or happy.

I liked the characters apart from Ursula of course. My favourite character is Sebastian who is the red crab not lobster!

I do have a few favourite scenes from this film. The scenes when Sebastian is singing the under the sea song and when he sings a song to hope Ariel and Eric will kiss. Also, when Eric tries to stop Ursula from killing Ariel; that was good and tense as well.

Overall, I enjoyed this film. This is fun Disney classic movie. The score was great!! This is great for anyone who likes Disney movies or is interested in watching all of the Disney classic movies. Yes, it is a kid’s film so kids will love it but I still love Disney films!! Highly recommend this movie.
