You're Next

This is a 2011 American independent slasher film directed by Adam Wingard, written by Simon Barrett, and starring Sharni Vinson, Nicholas Tucci, Wendy Glenn, A. J. Bowen, and Joe Swanberg. It got released in 2013 in US & UK.

The Plot

A family comes under attack during their wedding anniversary getaway, the gang of mysterious killers soon learns that one of the victims harbours a secret talent for fighting back.

I really liked and enjoyed this film. It is well directed and looks great on blu ray.

The first few opening scenes to this film was a great way to introduce this badass film.

The acting was brilliant especially by the actress who played Erin. There are so many suspense scenes in this film.

I did like the song that kept playing on repeat and the score in this film.

My favourite scene is when one of the intruders comes in gets distracted by a camera flashing every time it moves closer to find Erin. Also, how Erin kills that intruder was awesome.

Erin is my favourite character by far in this film she knows how to survive in this ‘home invasion’ situation and she is badass for sure.

The ending was really good as well. I think it’s one of the best home invasion slasher movies out there.

Overall, I loved this movie. The acting was brilliant. I highly recommend this film to everyone who loves horror or an actual good home invasion movie.
