Interview with the Vampire
This is a 1994 American drama horror film directed by Neil
Jordan, based on the 1976 novel Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice. It stars
Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt.
The Plot
A vampire tells his epic life story: love, betrayal,
loneliness, and hunger.
This film is alright but from what people have told me
saying it’s really good but I think it is a bit overrated.
It is a very interesting film, although some parts I felt
was bland and boring for me.
The acting was great in the film as well as the score. The score
in this film I really liked.
I did like the fact that it would go back to the past
although most of those scenes it reminded me of period drama which I don’t really
like. To be honest I don’t hate this film but it isn’t really a film for me.
My favourite part was the ending. There aren’t much
memorable scenes in this film as some were bland. The film shouldn’t have been
as long as it was.
Overall, I though this film was alright. The acting and the
score was great. Unfortunately this film wasn’t for me too much period kind of
like drama for me. Nevertheless I didn’t hate it, but if you like period drama
with vampires in it then this is the film for you.
