This is a 1985 American horror comedy film written and
directed by Tom. It stars William Ragsdale, Chris Sarandon, Roddy McDowall and
Amanda Bearse.
The Plot
When a teenager learns that his next door neighbour is a
vampire, no one will believe him.
Well this film is just awesome. Bloody brilliant should I say,
haha… Anyways this is a very good
vampire movie probably my favourite now.
The acting in this is very good. The score was great as
well. I really enjoyed this film a lot. I liked the whole plot concept as well.
There are some great scenes in this film. I liked all of
them, so I don’t have a favourite. I shall share some awesome ones anyways.
It is quite cool throughout the film Charley watches ‘Vampire
films’ and the ‘Fright Night’ TV Show.
When Charley sees he’s neighbour for the first time ever and
when he sees him in he’s parents’ house and sees him as a vampire. That was
really cool.
The scene where Evil Ed says he doesn’t believe in vampires
and then he goes through an alleyway. Then Jerry Dandridge catches him. That was
quite cool.
When Evil Ed goes to Peter Vincent’s house and tries to kill
him and Peter warns him off with a crucifix and Evil Ed doesn’t succeed in
killing him. That was another great scene.
I really liked the ending to this film. I liked the bit when
Billy gets staked through the heart. Then Billy dissolves into goo and dust;
that was awesome.
Overall, I really enjoyed this movie. It is a fun and good
vampire horror film. I would highly recommend this to everyone. It is
awesomness!!
