ZoeMovieReviews: Rabid

Rabid

This is a 1977 Canadian drama horror film written and directed by David Cronenberg. It features Marilyn Chambers in the lead role and the supporting actors are Howard Ryshpan, Joe Silver and Robert A. Silverman.

The Plot

A young woman develops a taste for human blood after undergoing experimental plastic surgery, and her victims turn into rabid, blood-thirsty zombies who continue to infect others, which turn into a city-wide rampant.

This film was great. It was very interesting and I liked it a lot.

The score to this film suited the mood of the film very well.

The acting was very good in this film. The lead role actress she played really well as well as all the other actors/actresses in this film.

The dog in the film was really cute. Moving onto the scenes!! Haha.

The scene where the woman’s been operated on in the operating theatre was very interesting. It did remind me of when I was in hospital a while ago. The bit when the surgeon removed part of the woman’s skin and you see it been peeled off. I thought that was cool.

When the woman goes into the barn stings the cow. That was very weird.

The scene when they are on train and there are some zombies there. I thought it was cool.

This film is very clever and a great little film.

Overall, I really enjoyed this film a lot. The acting was great and the score was as well. It is very unique little horror film. This is the first David Cronenberg I have seen and I am looking forward to watching/reviewing more. If you like horror you will like this film a lot.

Here is the youtube video I made if you want to check that out as well: GlossyBox video When you open up the box it is packaged nice and looks really pretty. Its very pink themed and it comes with pink tissue paper and black tissue paper to hold the products in safely as well as looking nice. This is what the inside of the glossy box looks like. GlossyBox sends you 5 full size products and on the card in the box it tells you the price and the description of each item. The first item that is in the box is: Elgon Deliwash cleansing conditioner . This costs £14.50. This is a shampoo and conditioner all in one. This means you can use it multiple times, without using too many pr...

ZoeMovieReviews: Grave Encounters

Grave Encounters This is a 2011 Canadian supernatural horror film, shot found footage style. The Plot For their ghost hunting reality show, a production crew locks themselves inside an abandoned mental hospital that's supposedly haunted - and it might prove to be all too true. Wow this probably one of the more decent and better found footage films I have seen in a long time. I liked the whole idea that it was part of their ghost hunting reality show – thought that was cool. At the start when the host was interviewing people, the part when he ask a man if he has seen any ghosts or anything like that and just gives him 20 bucks to pretend to say that he has. That was so funny! The acting was really good in this. I find that this film has a lot more interesting and creepy stuff than any of those paranormal activity films. This film, isn’t scary...
