This is a 2011 British romantic comedy film directed by Phil Traill. The film stars Felicity Jones, Bill Bailey, Ed Westwick, Sophia Bush, Brooke Shields and Bill Nighy.  It was filmed in Sankt Anton am Arlberg, Austria and in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. Felicity Jones plays the leading role.

The Plot

Former skateboard champion Kim wants to make more money after her mother's tragic death.  Opportunity comes along when she flukes a winter-long catering job in one of the plushest ski chalets in the Alps. She joins the elite posh servicing company, which sends her off to Austria. Kim discovers snowboarding, and her natural talent soon sees her training for the end-of-season competition which she has a chance to win some major prize money.

Wow I really enjoyed this film. This is such a fun and easy going film to watch. I'm not too keen on romantic comedies as such because they are usually the same old thing, but this one surprised me a lot.

I liked how this doesn't focus so much on the love and romantic-ness, just more on Kim's life in trying to get a better job, which unfortunately I can relate to at this point of my life.

Anyways, the visuals of this film were absolutely great. The scenes when the characters in the film were in the ski chalets, the snowy mountains looked amazing. The whole scenery in the Alps was breathtakingly beautiful. This film is definitely great on Blu-ray.

Throughout the film there were a lot of great funny scenes and jokes. That I really liked and the fact it didn't try to hard and it wasn't joke, after joke - which is good. Also, like that there wasn't any cheesiness to it. This film is like a feel good film. It just made me smile and laugh a lot.

Felicity Jones acted excellent throughout the film as well as Ed Westwick (in Gossip Girl). She played great as the character Kim. The other supporting actors/actresses did play their role great as well.

I really liked majority of the soundtrack in this film. It wasn't all the same type of music genre - which is really good. The music was very upbeat, made me like the film even more.

I liked that end credits of the film where some bloopers from the film. That made me smile, this film just puts you in a good mood. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie a lot, possibly in one of my top 3 romantic comedies.

Overall, I really enjoyed it. It was a funny, sweet and great romantic film. The scenery was amazing and the actors/actresses played great. I would highly recommend this film - its a feel good movie and isn't over the top slushy and romantic like some of the romantic comedies.

Rating: 8/10

Although, the first few scenes of the film is that it’s reminding you some of things that happened in the first film. That I liked, as it gave me an idea of what happened from the first film as I only watc...

It is based on the Danish fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. This is the 28 th Disney classic.   The Plot   A mermaid princess makes a Faustian bargain with a devious sea-witch in order to meet a human prince on land.   I loved this film so much and probably because it is a Disney film.   The animation is this film was really good. The score is very good as well. My favourite song from it was Under The Sea!   The story telling to this film is great! I liked how in some scenes the characters show actual emotion when they are sad or happy. I liked the characters apart from Ursula of course. My favourite character is Sebastian who is the red crab not lobster!   I do have a few favourite scenes from this film. The scenes whe...
