The Plot

The Raid is such an intense but fun gory action film. I really liked it. I haven't seen a really good martial arts film since the Karate Kid. This film is a mixture of gory, action and martial arts all in one. That's a great combination!! Especially in an awesome film like this.
The opening scene to this was great. The guy training and getting ready for the mission. From that scene and onwards this film gets even better.
Throughout the film there were a lot of fighting scenes in it. The fighting was really good- the scene where Rama and he's brother both fight Mad Dog at the same time was awesome. I really enjoyed that part.
The actors in the film played brilliantly. When the action and the more glorified scenes were on it felt realistic. This is due to the fact of the acting was brilliant and the director was as well.
The soundtrack to the film fit perfectly.
Overall, I really enjoyed this film a lot. I really liked all the gory scenes and the martial art scenes the best. The acting was brilliant. This is such a great Indonesian film. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves/likes action films or films that have quite a bit of gore in them. Yes, this film isn't in English but there is subtitles- so you will still understand the film. Everyone should go and watch this!!
Rating: 9.5/10

I really liked the character Rama. I liked the fact that he wouldn't leave the big block apartment until he found all the other alive elite SWAT team members. He is very heroic as well. Also, when he helped save he's brother and then they both fight Mad Dog.
